On May 28, Governor Newsom’s top air regulators are poised to hand big oil a massive giveaway, giving the oil and gas industry more allowances than the pollution they emit. This action would divert billions from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and the California Climate Credit, handing big oil a massive giveaway and eliminating $4 billion in funding for clean air, transit and housing. Californians deserve better.
