Toxic & Resilience Tours
Through toxic and resilience tours, CBE increases public awareness and community involvement as participants get a first-hand experience into the severe impacts of industrial pollution and racist policies that affect low-income communities of color.

Toxic tours include visits to an array of major polluter sites, such as oil refineries, ports, recycling facilities and more. We also tour sites that highlight community-lead transformations, such as resilience hubs, green spaces, clean energy projects and affordable housing projects.
You will hear personal stories of residents who are building power to hold industry and government officials accountable.
CBE provides both public and private tours:
Public tours are free and open to community members and individuals who want to get involved with the organization. These happen a few times a year, varying by community.
Private tours are arranged between CBE and the requestor. The requesting party may be an individual or group. We request a contribution to CBE, as we provide the staffing and programing tailored to the requesting party. Availability varies by group size, tour location and duration. If you are interested in requesting a private tour, get more information below.
