CBE will be hosting a quarterly series on “Build the New” solutions to dream up better futures in Richmond. This series will showcase concrete examples of building a world post-just transition and offer space to members to imagine this future together. Our first session will be on worker-owned cooperatives!
Worker coops are a promising part of building a new economy that’s just and sustainable for all. Cooperation Richmond will be leading us in a workshop on cooperative principles and how to apply them, and we’ll hear from worker coops in Richmond including Huitla Co Mushrooms and School for the Ecocene.
